You will manage cross-functional efforts for local, state, and federal permitting, ensuring environmental compliance. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's in a related field and 5+ years experience in renewable energy permitting. The role is based in Des Moines, Iowa with a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in wind energy environmental permitting or impact assessment.
• Experience with USACE, FERC, USFWS and DOTs on NEPA processes.
• Familiarity with environmental impact areas like noise and natural resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage shadow flicker assessments for wind projects.
• Coordinate with engineering and permitting teams to optimize turbine layouts.
• Prepare and review technical documentation for permitting and public consultation.
