Job summary

SugarHouse Industries in Midvale, UT is seeking a full-time Awning Installation Technician to join our growing manufacturing team. The position runs 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday–Friday with a daily lunch break, and some Saturdays may be required.

You will review orders, load tools and equipment, and head to scheduled appointments to install awnings with a team of 2–4 installers, delivering quality service.

Qualifications

• Efficient use of power and hand tools.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including working from heights and lifting 50+ lbs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and building plans.

Responsibilities

• Review orders and participate in morning production meetings.
• Load tools, equipment and products into the company truck and travel to appointments.
• Install products using ladders, hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service while working with clients and team members.

YOUR LIFE AS AN AWNING INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN

This full-time skilled labor position typically works 8:00 am - 4:30 pm with a daily lunch break, Monday - Friday. The ability to work some Saturdays will be required as well.

As an Awning Installation Technician, you play an important role in providing our clients with a high-quality experience. At the beginning of your day, you review orders, participate in morning production meetings, and collaborate with your install team. This helps to set you and your fellow coworkers up for success. After you have a thorough knowledge of the daily agenda, you load the proper tools, equipment, and products into a company truck and head to scheduled appointments for the day. Typically working in a team of about 2-4 awning installers, you always communicate with respect and courtesy. You utilize ladders, hand tools, and power tools to install products in a safe and efficient manner. In addition, you often have opportunities to practice exceptional customer service when you come into contact with clients. You enjoy serving others, working with your hands, and contributing to the company in a big way!
