Job summary

SugarHouse Industries is seeking a motivated Lead Technician - Awning Installer to oversee installation of custom-made shade and awning products at residential and commercial properties in Midvale, UT.

This full-time position offers pay from $18 to $30 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including health insurance, a 401(k) with match, PTO, and performance-based recognition.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with power and hand tools.
• Physical ability to perform tasks, including working at heights and lifting 50+ lbs.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and building plans.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing orders and participating in morning production meetings.
• Collaborating with installation team to ensure successful project execution.
• Loading tools, equipment, and products onto the company truck.
• Traveling to scheduled appointments for installations.
• Leading a team of 2-4 installers and maintaining respectful communication.
• Using ladders, hand tools, and power tools to install shade and awning products.
