Job summary

Architectural Fabrication, Inc. is seeking an Installer to support on-site installation of pre-manufactured products such as awnings and sunshades. You will read blueprints, prepare materials, and travel to client sites within the Dallas–Fort Worth area daily, ensuring safety and quality throughout installations.

The role requires physical work, the ability to lift 75+ lbs, and overtime when needed. OSHA-10 is preferred; basic computer skills are expected. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 75+ pounds frequently.
• Installation experience in the sign industry or related construction.
• OSHA 10 certification preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Google Drive, Docs, and Mail.

Responsibilities

• Install awnings, sunshades, and canopies per drawings and specs.
• Read blueprints and prep materials for installation.
• Report to project sites within the DFW area daily.
• Operate scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, scissor lifts, and crane trucks.
• Perform quality checks post-production and post-installation.
• Communicate onsite conditions and project status to PMO.
• Maintain a driver's license; be available for overnight travel.
• Work overtime as required.

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide necessary labor to install Architectural Fabrication’s pre-manufactured products on our clients’ job sites using safe and efficient methods. You will be responsible for the physical installation of products like awnings and sunshades while maintaining a high level of dependability and integrity in all customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install awnings, sunshades, and canopies per provided drawings and specifications.
• Read blueprints and identify and prepare all necessary materials and supplies for installation.
• The ability to report to project sites within the DFW area daily.
• Operate specialized equipment including scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, scissor lifts, and crane trucks.
• Perform quality assurance checks both post-production and post-installation.
• Effectively communicate onsite conditions and project status to the project management office.
• Maintain a driver's license and be available for out-of-town work requiring overnight stays.
• Ability to work overtime

Required Qualifications & Experience
