Job summary

Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Senior Supervisor of Entertainment in Austell, GA to oversee the daily operations of the Entertainment Department and drive high guest satisfaction. You will liaise between team members, supervisors, and the Entertainment Manager while handling recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and administrative duties.

The role emphasizes coordinating programs, coaching staff, ensuring safety and policy compliance, and supporting events and projects

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the Entertainment Department for smooth program execution.
  • Serve as a communication bridge between team members, supervisors, and leadership.
  • Coordinate recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding and retention initiatives.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs to meet performance and service standards.
  • Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling.
  • Maintain departmental records, payroll documentation, and admin requirements.
  • Coach and evaluate staff for growth and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
  • Assist in planning/ executing entertainment events and projects.
  • Address operational challenges and team concerns promptly.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Overview

The Senior Supervisor of Entertainment is responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of the Entertainment Department and ensuring a high level of service, performance, and guest satisfaction. This position serves as the primary liaison between team members, supervisors, and the Entertainment Manager, facilitating effective communication and operational efficiency. The role also manages recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and administrative functions for the department.

How You'll Make A Difference
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Entertainment Department to ensure smooth and efficient execution of programs and activities.

  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of recruitment, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and facilitate training programs to ensure team members meet performance and service standards.
  • Monitor staffing levels and assist with scheduling to support operational needs.
  • Maintain departmental records, reports, payroll documentation, and other administrative requirements.
  • Coach, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote professional growth and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
  • Assist in planning and executing entertainment events, productions, and special projects.
  • Resolve operational challenges and team member concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Payrate: up to $18.50/hr
We're Looking For:
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in entertainment, attractions, hospitality, recreation, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment, hiring, training, and employee development practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail (including color accuracy)
  • Capable of standing/walking for extended shifts (up to 14 hours; 3+ miles daily)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., including lifting items above shoulder level
