Job summary

Synopsys is seeking a Salesforce DevOps engineer to own deployment pipelines and release processes across the Salesforce platform. You will automate User Stories, promotion paths, and environment management using Copado, while aligning with developers and admins to minimize downtime.

You will implement Apex and Lightning customizations, manage Git-based workflows for metadata, and coordinate deployments from sandbox to production with strong emphasis on validation and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce development or Salesforce platform administration.
• Hands-on experience with Copado for deployment and release management, including User Stories and promotion pipelines.
• Comfort with Git-based workflows including branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and managing metadata in version control.
• Working knowledge of core Salesforce concepts including Apex, Lightning components, flows, and standard and custom object configuration.
• Understanding of Salesforce release management fundamentals including sandboxes, change sets or metadata API, and environment strategy.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

What You'll Need

• 2 to 5 years of experience in Salesforce development or Salesforce platform administration
• Hands-on experience with Copado for deployment and release management, including User Stories and promotion pipelines
• Comfort with Git-based workflows including branching, merging, resolving conflicts, and managing metadata in version control
• Working knowledge of core Salesforce concepts including Apex, Lightning components, flows, and standard and custom object configuration
• Understanding of Salesforce release management fundamentals including sandboxes, change sets or metadata API, and environment strategy
• Basic scripting or automation skills such as shell scripting that help streamline deployment tasks is a plus
• Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Copado certifications are a plus
