Job summary

At Home is seeking an SFCC Technical Architect – Digital Technologies to lead architecture and deliver scalable ecommerce solutions on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. You will partner with product, UX, and engineering to translate requirements into robust platforms, ensuring performance, security, and platform stability across web, mobile, and backend systems.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on guidance. This hybrid role requires 3 days on-site in Coppell, TX, with two days remote.

Qualifications

• SFCC architecture and implementation experience.
• Experience with ecommerce architecture patterns and microservices.
• Cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and BFF architectures.
• Web technologies: JavaScript, React, Node.js, HTML5.
• CI/CD, Bitbucket, and development workflows.
• Knowledge of catalog, pricing, promotions, and checkout in ecommerce.
• Experience with third-party integrations (payments, tax, search, analytics).

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and technical strategy for SFCC and related digital platforms.
• Define best practices for SFCC development, integrations, and performance optimization.
• Partner with Product, UX, Engineering to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Architect and oversee integrations between SFCC and OMS, CRM, WMS, payments, and taxes.
• Drive modernization with API-first, headless, and microservices (SCAPI, OCAPI, BFF).
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Lead performance tuning, scalability improvements, and site stability initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with security, PCI, SOX, and audit standards.
• Oversee third-party tools in marketing, analytics, search, and personalization.
• Collaborate in Agile using JIRA across cross-functional teams.
• Support ecommerce operations like BOPIS, Ship-from-Store, and delivery capabilities.
