Job summary

Physical Intelligence is seeking an Operations Recruiter in the San Francisco Bay Area to own the high-volume recruiting funnel from generation through screening. You will build a steady flow of candidates for Robot Operator and related roles, and partner with local organizations to sustain pipelines.

You’ll screen candidates, ensure strong trial conversion, and maintain weekly targets while delivering a top-tier candidate experience in a fast-moving startup.

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting hourly/high-volume roles end-to-end.
• Personally screen a high volume of candidates weekly.
• Build local candidate pipelines through community orgs, schools, events, referrals & partnerships.
• Track funnel metrics and improve sourcing based on data.
• Clear, warm, timely communication with diverse candidates.
• Strong organization in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Experience with work trials, skills assessments, or on-the-job evaluations.
• Familiarity with Ashby ATS and automating scheduling/candidate communications.
• Experience building recruiting processes from scratch at startups.
• Existing Bay Area relationships with workforce development orgs & schools.

Responsibilities

• Own recruiting funnel from candidate generation through screening.
• Generate qualified candidate flow for Robot Operator and operations roles.
• Manage channels: job boards, referrals, local partnerships, events, schools.
• Conduct initial screens evaluating reliability, communication, attention to detail, motivation.
• Hit weekly hiring targets; maintain visibility into candidate volume and starts.
• Deliver a great candidate experience with clear communication about process and expectations.
• Build recruiting partnerships with Bay Area organizations for durable pipelines.
• Improve hiring system with repeatable processes and data-driven tweaks.
