Pacific Gas & Electric Company is seeking a San Francisco Communications Lead to guide regional programs, speak with media, and support emergency response communications. You will develop and deliver internal, external, and online messaging to reinforce reliability and safety progress in San Francisco.

The role requires strategic counsel, collaboration with leadership, and hands-on communication across stakeholders. In-person three days a week, with travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• 7 years of related experience in corporate communications, journalism, and/or politics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Advertising, Public Relations or related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Aufgaben

• Manage development, implementation, and coordination of communication programs, including emergency response communications.
• Develop and review strategic communication plans for the San Francisco Division.
• Establish plans for message integration with marketing programs and events.
• Write news releases, advisories, and social media content to support regional programs.
• Plan and staff media events as needed, acting as lead spokesperson or supporting the VP.
