Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking an experienced Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (Adult/Adolescent) to join the team in Baltimore. The role requires an active Maryland RN license, specialized SANE training, and CPR certification.

Preference given to FNE-A certified candidates or those enrolled in an FNE-A course. Candidates should have at least two years of clinical experience, preferably in Women’s Health or Emergency Medicine, and strong communication and assessment skills.

Competenze

• Must have completed a specialized SANE training program.
• Active Maryland RN license in good standing.
• Healthcare Provider CPR biennial.
• FNE-A certification preferred; training can be provided if not current.

Mansioni

• Completes evidentiary examinations per established protocols with thorough documentation.
• Communicates effectively with victims, families, ED staff, law enforcement and the court.
• Identifies victims needing immediate referrals and follows SAFE procedures for specimens and medications.
• Assesses patient needs and coordinates referrals; provides emergency resources when warranted.
