Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related job experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of appropriate intervention techniques for sexual assault and domestic abuse.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct advocacy services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic abuse.
• Build community awareness and education on sexual assault and human trafficking.
• Document all contact with victims and prepare reports as required.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of human and social service programs

Strong organizational skills

Interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related field
