Qualifications

• Active Washington State Bar admission.
• Experience handling civil litigation and/or personal injury matters.
• Experience with sexual abuse, catastrophic injury, or other sensitive plaintiff-side litigation preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
• Excellent judgment and ability to work effectively with clients dealing with highly sensitive circumstances.
• Strong case-management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage sexual abuse and related personal injury litigation from intake through resolution.
• Conduct client interviews, case evaluations, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Develop litigation strategy and prepare cases for mediation and trial.
• Research and analyze complex legal and factual issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, settlement demands, and other legal documents.
• Work with experts, investigators, opposing counsel, and other professionals.
• Maintain strong, compassionate communication with clients throughout the litigation process.
• Handle sensitive and highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
