Job summary

Tactical Evolution Group, LLC in Hubert, NC is seeking a dependable Cut & Sew Production Prep Associate to join our manufacturing team. The role centers on preparing materials, measuring and counting items, and organizing production kits for sewing operators.

You will verify materials, mark for sewing, inspect for defects, and support inventory and general production duties while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to accurately use rulers, measuring tapes, templates, and cutting tools.
• Read and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Accurately count, measure, sort, and verify materials.
• Recognize differences in materials, colors, sizes, and components.
• Work independently and as part of a production team.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for sewing production.
• Measure and cut nylon webbing, elastic, hook-and-loop, binding tape, and other items to specified lengths.
• Gather fabric pieces, hardware, buckles, zippers, labels, and other components for each order.
• Organize and bundle components into production kits for Sewing Machine Operators.
• Count and verify materials to ensure correct quantities.
• Mark materials for sewing, folding, hardware placement, or assembly.
• Inspect materials for defects or incorrect cuts.
• Identify missing or incorrect components before production.
• Return unused materials to inventory locations and monitor supplies.
• Keep work-in-progress organized and maintain a clean production area.
• Assist with inventory counts and general production duties.
