Responsibilities

• Prepare materials and components for sewing production.
• Measure and cut nylon webbing, elastic, hook-and-loop, binding tape, and other items to specified lengths.
• Gather fabric pieces, hardware, buckles, zippers, labels, and other components for each order.
• Organize and bundle components into production kits for Sewing Machine Operators.
• Count and verify materials to ensure correct quantities.
• Mark materials for sewing, folding, hardware placement, or assembly.
• Inspect materials for defects or incorrect cuts.
• Identify missing or incorrect components before production.
• Return unused materials to inventory locations and monitor supplies.
• Keep work-in-progress organized and maintain a clean production area.
• Assist with inventory counts and general production duties.

Tactical Evolution Group, LLC (TEG) is looking for a dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Cut & Sew Production Prep Associate to join our manufacturing team.

You do not need to be an experienced sewing machine operator for this position.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with their hands, can accurately measure and count materials, stays organized, and takes pride in doing quality work.

The Production Prep Associate helps keep our sewing team productive by making sure materials are measured, cut, organized, counted, and ready to go before they reach the sewing machine.

Industrial Sewing and Manufacturing Preparation Duties:

• Prepare materials and components for our sewing production team.
• Measure and cut nylon webbing, elastic, hook-and-loop, binding tape, and other materials to specified lengths.
• Gather fabric pieces, hardware, buckles, zippers, labels, webbing, and other components required for each production order.
• Organize and bundle components into production kits for Sewing Machine Operators.
• Count and verify materials to ensure each production kit contains the correct quantities.
• Mark materials for sewing, folding, hardware placement, or assembly as required.
• Inspect materials for defects, damage, incorrect cuts, or other quality issues.
• Identify missing or incorrect components before products enter sewing production.
• Return unused materials to the proper inventory locations.
• Monitor commonly used materials and notify management when supplies are running low.
• Keep work-in-process organized and clearly identified.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production area.
• Assist with inventory counts and general production duties as needed.
