Job summary

Mustang Survival in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Entry-Level Sewing Machine Operator I to run sewing machines for basic garment sewing operations, ensuring efficiency and quality.

The role reports to a Production Supervisor and supports team goals by performing simple maintenance, adhering to safety standards, and assisting in training new operators as needed. Applicants with a high school diploma or equivalent and basic sewing experience are preferred, and familiarity with fabrics is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Basic experience or training in sewing machine operation.
• Familiarity with different fabric/textile materials is a plus.
• An acceptable combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operating sewing machines to perform basic garment sewing operations efficiently and accurately.
• Conducting basic maintenance and troubleshooting of sewing machines to ensure optimal functionality.
• Collaborating with team members to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Assisting in training new sewing machine operators or apprentices as needed.
