Job summary

Domico Med-Device is seeking a Sewing Operator in Fenton, MI. You will operate sewing machines, follow detailed work instructions, and help produce high-quality components used in medical devices.

This hands-on role offers an opportunity to learn industrial sewing techniques, work with specialized equipment, and grow within a quality-focused manufacturing environment. Prior sewing experience is welcome but not required.

What You’ll Do

As a Sewing Operator, you’ll be responsible for operating sewing equipment and completing hands-on manufacturing processes, including:

Operating industrial sewing machines to sew materials and components according to specifications

Following work instructions, patterns, and production requirements

Measuring, positioning, and aligning materials to ensure accurate sewing and assembly

Inspecting finished work to ensure quality and consistency

Identifying defects or quality concerns and communicating issues to the appropriate team members

Maintaining consistent production quality while meeting daily goals

Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe

Learning and following established processes and procedures

Working closely with team members to meet production and quality expectations

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. You don’t need to know everything on day one—we’re looking for someone with the right attitude who is willing to learn our processes and develop their skills.

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Previous industrial or commercial sewing experience
