Job summary

The JOY FM in Augusta, GA is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to service industrial sewing machines. You will perform setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include reading manuals, diagnosing problems, replacing or repairing parts, testing and adjusting equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of fabrics helpful; OSHA certification and technical training are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with technical training.
• 2 years' related experience in sewing and production machines.
• Minor plumbing, carpentry, and electrical knowledge preferred.
• OSHA certified.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• General knowledge of fabrics and hand cutting of fabrics.
