Summary: Assists mechanics by performing the primary function of sewing equipment maintenance, such as lubricating equipment, installing needle protectors, and performing other assigned tasks.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Does preventive maintenance on equipment (i.e., change oil, blow motors, adjust machines,clean machines, check times)Record keeping- records equipment preventive maintenance by keeping logs on maintenanceperformed. Must have good vision to observe proper levels of oil and small screws.Work Environment: Able to work in a noisy factory/manufacturing environment and withstand heavy traffic and floor vibrations.
