Job summary

Klein Tools in United States is seeking a manufacturing operator to perform set-up and adjustments on sewing-related equipment, including bobbins and needles. The role requires knowledge of sewing materials and a strong focus on safety and quality.

The candidate should have 2 years of related experience and be able to work closely with various staff while handling shifting priorities and strong attention to detail. This is a first shift position with standard manufacturing responsibilities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machines; may wind bobbins and replace needles.
• Be knowledgeable about materials required for sewing operations.
• Set up and adjust machines as needed.
• Be alert for in-process product imperfections and report to supervisor or lead.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent injury and equipment damage.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• 4. Must be alert for in-process product imperfection and bring to the supervisor or lead’s attention.
• 5. Must exercise safety procedures to prevent injury to oneself and prevent damage to equipment.
• 6. Perform all other duties as assigned.

1st shift: 5:45AM-4:15PM

Job Qualification Requirements

Two (2) years work related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Must possess knowledge using hand tools.

Demonstrate basic mathematical, reading, writing, and comprehension as well as communication skills.

Demonstrate the capacity to shift priorities.

Physical Demand Requirements

Required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
