Overview

The Sewing Operator is responsible for operating sewing machines to customize, personalize, and process products according to established specifications and quality standards. The position requires attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to meet production goals in a warehouse environment.

Associates must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays that fall within their regular work schedule, as required. Previous sewing experience is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operate industrial sewing machines to sew, personalize, and customize products according to specifications.
2. Inspect products and materials before and after sewing to ensure quality standards are met.
3. Follow work instructions, product specifications, and established operating procedures.
4. Handle products and materials carefully to prevent damage during processing.
5. Use handheld scanning devices to scan product barcodes when required.
6. Apply labels and complete required processing steps as assigned.
7. Meet established production goals while maintaining accuracy and quality.
8. Identify and report defective products, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
9. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
10. Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
