You will perform setup and calibration, adjust tensions, read production schedules, and guide fabric pieces under the needle to ensure accurate seams and finished products. This role requires attention to detail in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Run single-needle, double-needle, serger, or flat-bed felling machines to assemble garments, leather goods, or other materials.
• Draw thread through guides, adjust tensions, select needles, and configure stitch width/length based on fabric type.
• Read daily production schedules, work orders, or blueprints to determine patterns, dimensions, and thread color matches.
• Guide pre-cut fabric pieces under the needle, maintain standard seam allowances, and attach components like zippers, buttons, hooks, velcro, and fasteners.

Duties and Responsibilities

Machine Operation: Run single-needle, double-needle, serger, or flat-bed felling industrial sewing machines to assemble garments, leather goods, or other materials.

Setup and Calibration: Draw thread through guides, adjust tensions, select appropriate needles, and configure stitch width/length based on the fabric type

Material Preparation: Read daily production schedules, work orders, or blueprints to determine patterns, dimensions, and thread color matches.

Assembly and Attachment: Guide pre-cut fabric pieces under the needle, maintaining standard seam allowances. Attach components like zippers, buttons, hooks, velcro, and fasteners.
