POSITION OVERVIEW

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for cutting fabric, operating sewing machines, trimming threads, and folding products to meet production schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cut, sew, trim threads, and fold products following established guidelines.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with manual fabric cutting.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

OTHER INFORMATION

• This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Follow policies, be punctual, ensure quality, meet productivity standards, and observe safety procedures.

• Read and understand simple instructions and memos.

• High School diploma or GED with 2+ years of industrial sewing experience required.

• Physical demands include occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

• Work environment involves moderate noise levels.
