Job summary

Olympus Group in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a seasoned Sewing Team Lead onsite at our HQ. You will manage sewers, mentor teammates, and ensure products meet the highest quality standards for sports, entertainment, and events.

You will collaborate with other departments, monitor production schedules, and contribute to a clean, safe, and efficient workplace while supporting competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sewing, patterning, and garment construction.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual Spanish-English strongly preferred to communicate with your team!

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of sewers to ensure that all products are produced to the highest quality standards.
• Train and mentor new team members on sewing techniques, pattern making, and best practices.
• Monitor production schedules to ensure that all orders are completed on time.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all products meet customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any sewing-related issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sewing, patterning, and garment construction
• Bilingual Spanish- English strongly preferred to communicate with your team!
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of industrial sewing machines and equipment
