Graver Technologies, part of Marmon Holdings, a Berkshire Hathaway company, seeks a Sewing Assembler in Honeoye Falls, NY to support the manufacture of filter housings. You will cut materials and sew them into pleated packs used in our vessels.

Join the team on 1st or 2nd shift and contribute to assembling components, applying gaskets, and packaging finished products. A high school diploma and sewing/assembly experience are required, with the ability to read measurements and lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or Equivalent.
• Previous Sewing and Assembly experience.
• Ability to read tape measure and calipers.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs for 20 feet.

Responsabilités

• Cut materials such as polyester, cotton, fiberglass.
• Sew above materials using needle and thread.
• Install pleated packs over and/or into metal and/or plastic cores.
• Seal ends of pleated packs using gluing, stapling, or Sonobonding.
• Attach gaskets using hot melt applicator.
• Package the product using plastic bags, wraps, filler paper, and labels.
