CTC Plumbing Services, LLC is seeking a Sewer Technician to perform semi-skilled maintenance and real-time assessment of plumbing drainage systems on site. You'll clear blockages, log important details, and support the lead technician.

Work is outdoors, with exposure to noise, dust, weather, and chemicals. This full-time role reports to the dispatch team and CEO and pays $18–$20 per hour with no paid time off or benefits.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and ability to operate a sewer machine.
• Physically capable to perform tasks outdoors in varying conditions.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under direct and indirect supervision performs a variety of semi-skilled work involved maintenance, clearing, preventative maintenance, and simple knowledge base of plumbing drainage systems. Able to assess various systems onsite and implementing the solution to alleviate plumbing issue. Recording and submitting paperwork according to the job back to the office. Closing out all jobs efficiently.

Employment Type

• Full-Time
• Hourly: $18/hr - $20/hr starting
• Reports directly to: Dispatch team and CEO
• Position does not provide paid time off, benefits, or holiday pay.

Primary Duties:

• Clearing clogged drain lines.
• Assessing plumbing systems on site in real time.
• Logging correct and pertinent information.
• Assisting lead tech with other plumbing jobs.

Sewer Technician Skills and Qualifications:

Team players with the ability to manage each job independently.

• Mechanical skills –Must be able to operate a sewer machine
• Physical fitness – Must be able to physically do and complete each task associated with the job position.
• Troubleshooting – The ability to assess and rectify/alleviate/solve each service call, and/or report the next steps.
• Customer service skills – Professionalism and communication is the key to securing the customers confidence in you.
• Work Environment: The work is typically performed outdoors. The employee may be exposed to noise, dust, dirt irritating chemicals, machinery with moving parts, and occasional hot, cold or inclement weather. This work may require the use of protective devices such as masks, goggles, headwear or gloves.
