S&J Plumbing in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a Sewer Technician (Residential) to diagnose and repair residential drain systems and guide customers to informed decisions. You’ll work with a supportive team in a family-friendly shop that values quality and service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential sewer technician experience.
• 1 year minimum mini excavator experience.
• Hydro-jetting, rodding and video inspection of sewers.
• Able to pass a background check and a drug test.
• Positive team environment with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential drain systems.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
• Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
• Join the on-call rotation.

Our Sewer Technician will diagnose and repair residential drain systems and lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain communication with dispatch, your manager, parts and installation teams.
• Keep your company truck clean, inside and out.
• Keep your truck inventory up to date.
• Properly complete paperwork.
• Join the on-call rotation.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Participate in training, allowing you to grow and develop as a professional.

Requirements:

• Must have 2+ years of residential sewer technician experience
• Ability to work in a positive team environment
• Self-starter who is able to get the job done
• 1 year minimum mini excavator experience
• Exceptional customer service
• Hydro-jetting, rodding and video inspecting sewers for our customers
• Able to pass a background check and a drug test
