Job summary

The City of Grandview is hiring a Maintenance Worker – Sewer to help maintain critical infrastructure that keeps our community running. This is a hands-on, outdoor position with variety, stability, and opportunities to grow your skills.

You’ll clean and maintain sewer lines and manholes, operate equipment, respond to floods and snow events, perform general Public Works maintenance, assist with facility inspections, and participate in on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain Class A CDL with air brake & tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain sewer lines and manholes
• Operate light, medium, and heavy-duty equipment
• Respond to emergencies, including floods and snow events
• Perform general Public Works maintenance (mowing, trimming, repairs)
• Assist with facility maintenance and inspections
• Participate in on-call rotation and snow response
