Job summary

J Blanton Plumbing is seeking a hardworking Sewer Lining Helper in Columbus, OH. You will support Sewer Lining Technicians through preparation, lining, and project completion, with training provided on sewer lining processes and equipment.

Ideal candidates have 6 months of sewer or plumbing/home services experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors at varied sites. Join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience working with sewers OR 6 months in plumbing/drain/home services industry
• Willingness to learn sewer lining and CIPP techniques
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors and on various job sites
• Lift/carry heavy equipment and materials
• Follow safety procedures and work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assist Sewer Lining Technicians with Cured In Place Piping (CIPP) installations and repairs
• Prepare job sites and sewer lines for lining
• Operate and maintain sewer lining and drain cleaning equipment
• Load, unload, transport, and organize tools and equipment
• Assist with Picote, Hydro Jetter, and other specialized sewer equipment
• Prepare materials and equipment for each project
• Help clean and prepare sewer lines prior to lining
• Set up and break down equipment at job sites
• Follow Lead Technicians and Field Managers' instructions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate problems to Lead Technician
• Follow company safety procedures
• Provide professional and respectful service to customers
• Perform other duties related to sewer lining and rehabilitation
