J. Blanton Plumbing is seeking an Excavation Helper for our Sewer Installation Team in Columbus, OH. This is an entry-level role with hands-on training, assisting experienced technicians with digging, trenching, and site preparation for sewer and water line projects.

You will support installation and repair work, help locate leaks, and maintain safety on site. Prior general labor experience and a valid license are preferred, with a strong work ethic and reliability emphasized.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with general labor is preferred.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in trenches or confined spaces.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with digging, trenching, and backfilling for sewer and water line projects.
• Support installation and repair of water and sewer lines, laterals, and cleanouts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times.
• Follow instructions from crew leaders and work as part of a team.
• Operate basic hand tools and assist with light equipment use under supervision.
