TYLin International in Chicago is seeking a Construction Inspector to support sewer lining programs in the Chicagoland area. You will conduct hands-on field inspections to ensure work meets contract specifications, safety standards, and municipal requirements, coordinating with contractors and city departments.
The role supports projects anticipated over the next 3–6 months, with potential ongoing opportunities in TYLin PMCM teams as needs arise.
Formación
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field required.
- 3–5 years of field construction inspection experience on sewer/water infrastructure projects.
- Experience inspecting sewer cleaning and lining operations and verifying compliance with standards.
- FE certification preferred; PE license a plus.
Responsabilidades
- Inspect sewer cleaning and lining operations for contract compliance and safety.
- Verify traffic control setups and material compliance per project specs.
- Monitor installation processes, permits, and overall field quality.
- Document quantities and prepare reports to support progress and payments.
- Review sewer televising footage and coordinate with contractors and city staff.
