TYLin International in Chicago is seeking a Construction Engineer to provide full-time on-site oversight for water and sewer infrastructure projects. You will coordinate daily construction activities, review submittals, monitor schedules, and serve as a liaison among Owner, contractors, and stakeholders to keep projects moving efficiently.
This role is part of TYLin’s PMCM team, with opportunities to engage on multiple projects over the next 3–6 months as needs materialize.
Competenze
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related field required.
- 4-5+ years of experience in Resident Engineer activities on water/sewer projects.
- Familiarity with PM Procedures (PMPs) and PM Guidelines (PMGs) appreciated.
Mansioni
- Provide full-time on-site construction oversight and contract administration.
- Ensure contractor compliance with plans, specs, permits, and safety.
- Coordinate daily activities and review submittals, testing, and pay applications.
- Monitor schedule and communicate delays to Owner; prepare progress reports.
