City of O'Fallon, MO is hiring a full‑time Utility Worker I for the Sewer Lateral Crew. You will support the crew by maintaining sewer and water lines, lift stations, and related systems, with day shifts and occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
• Class A Collections System Operator Certification or Class III Distribution Certification preferred.
• Paid CDL training available for new hires.
• Strong safety principles required, including trench safety.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, operate, and repair sewer lift stations, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Maintain and repair machinery and equipment; weld and fabricate parts.
• Inspect new lines and locate existing water and sewer lines.
• Address customer complaints and maintain cleanliness of facilities, lagoons and grounds.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in snow removal operations.
