Polestar Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Excavation Operator to support sewer line installation projects in the Kansas City area. You will operate excavators, backhoes, and trenchers, following blueprints and local codes while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavation equipment.
• Minimum 2 years of plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of excavation practices, safety procedures, and local codes.
• Ability to read blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary certifications (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavation equipment to dig trenches for sewer line installations.
• Ensure excavation work complies with local codes, regulations, and project specs.
• Assist in layout and alignment of trenches with proper depth and slope.
• Coordinate excavation and installation activities with the team.
• Monitor and maintain excavation equipment for safe operation.
• Perform daily safety checks and report maintenance issues.
• Follow blueprints to ensure correct trench positioning and depth.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment following protocols.
• Collaborate to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
