Zusammenfassung

Malibu Boats, Inc. is seeking a skilled sewing associate to support the production of Stamoid and Makrolon components and upholstery for boat interiors.

You will operate a double-needle sewing machine, cut and trim fabric with scissors or electric shears, and maintain quality while meeting takt times; typical 10-hour shift Monday-Thursday with overtime.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.

• Sew Stamoid and Makrolon components (sides and drop curtains).
• Sew upholstery items for boat interiors (cushions, bolsters, etc.).
• Maintain high quality during build sequence and meet takt time.
• Ensure no damage to products/parts and perform housekeeping as assigned by supervisor.

Job Details

• Responsible for sewing of Stamoid and Makrolon (sides and drop curtains)
• Responsible for sewing upholstery items for the interior of the boat to include cushion, bolsters etc..
• Able to use a double needle sewing machine
• Proficient in the use of scissors, electric shears, and snips
• Responsible for performing tasks within required takt time
• Responsible for maintaining high quality during build sequence
• Responsible for not damaging product/parts
• Performs housekeeping and other job-related duties assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
