Malibu Boats, Inc. is seeking a sewing associate to assemble Stamoid and Makrolon components and interior upholstery, including cushions and bolsters. You will operate a double-needle sewing machine and use scissors, electric shears, and snips. Adherence to takt time and high quality is essential.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and the ability to read safety rules; related experience is a plus. Long shifts with housekeeping duties may be required.

• Responsible for sewing of Stamoid and Makrolon (sides and drop curtains)
• Responsible for sewing upholstery items for the interior of the boat to include cushion, bolsters etc..
• Able to use a double needle sewing machine
• Proficient in the use of scissors, electric shears, and snips
• Responsible for performing tasks within required takt time
• Responsible for maintaining high quality during build sequence
• Responsible for not damaging product/parts
• Performs housekeeping and other job-related duties assigned by supervisor

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
