Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to serve as a Designated School Official (DSO).
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• U.S. citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency required per DHS.
• Knowledge of, or ability to learn, XML datafile troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Monitors student enrollment and manages batch registration each semester for all enrolled students.
• Manages software updates and security certificate installation on the SEVIS server.
• Troubleshoots and resolves batch system issues.
• Identifies, analyzes and documents business requirements and data elements for functional areas that impact students.
• Translates business requirements into batch processes and workflows.
• Compiles and disseminates statistical data regarding international students and scholars.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of federal regulations.
• Advises students on maintaining valid F-1 status and related benefits.
• Serves as a Designated School Official (DSO).
• Coordinates the arrival process for new students and oversees check-in requirements.
• Monitors and reconciles SEVIS alerts and data fixes.
• Contributes to website updates and social media efforts.
• Participates in student programming and assessment.
