Special Education Teacher needed in a classroom for students with multiple medical disabilities.
The Special Education Teacher will create an evidence based educational program and a classroom environment that is multicultural/gender and ability fair/developmentally appropriate, is favorable to learning and growth and is based on a commitment that all children can learn.
CREST is looking for a Special Education Teacher to teach a small cohort of students in one of our classrooms in our multiple medical disability program, EPIC. Licensure or ability to obtain emergency licensure is required. Experience with severe disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ABA methodology) is preferred.
The ideal candidate will ensure student progress toward team-identified skills and competencies, by development, delivery, supervision, and evaluation of specialized instruction. Experience using the principals of PBIS, behavioral intervention, data collection and data review/analysis is required.
