Job summary

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High school equivalency diploma required with ability to support students with complex needs.
• Ability to implement behavior modification techniques and de-escalation strategies.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classroom activities, adapting curriculum to individual needs.
• Implement IEP accommodations and maintain progress records with licensed staff.
• Assist with materials, tests, attendance and classroom events as needed.
• Support online/remote learning and assist with technology access for students.
• Monitor and reinforce appropriate behavior, with emphasis on safety.
