Job summary

Precious Plate is seeking a Setup Technician and experienced machine operator to join our Niagara Falls plating team. You will report to the Tool Crib Supervisor, with a Monday–Friday schedule 7am–3pm and potential overtime. Starting rate is $25 per hour.

Responsibilities include assembling tooling and changeover paperwork, preparing changeover planners, assisting with changeovers, storing tooling, and supporting 5S initiatives. Maintain a tour-ready workstation and operate hand tools safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Production Operator preferred.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others.
• Ability to hear, see, occasionally bend, stoop and kneel, stand for 8 to 12 hours per day, and lift up to 50lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble tooling and paperwork required for plating line changeover in advance.
• Prepare changeover planners.
• Assist with changeovers when available.
• Inspect and store tooling and equipment removed during changeovers.
• Prepare for PM cycles and locate/stock parts.
• Assist with PM efforts when available.
• Interact with Production Manager, Foremen, Operators, Engineering, and others.
• Maintain a tour-ready workstation.
• Operate hand tools and equipment as needed.
• Support 5S initiatives and audits.
