Job summary

Boyd Corporation, based in Beaverton, OR, is seeking an Injection Molding Technician to set up, operate, and troubleshoot injection mold tooling. The role requires reading blueprints, maintaining equipment, and ensuring process parameters are correctly entered into presses.

Candidates should have at least two years of injection molding experience, strong math skills, and proficiency with hand tools and basic PC use. This position is on-site with Boyd’s comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Set up molds and troubleshoot injection mold tooling.
  • Read specifications to determine machine set-up and parameter settings.
  • Repair and maintain machines and auxiliary equipment using hand tools.
  • Enter molding parameters in the press and monitor processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Set-up, remove and troubleshoot injection mold tooling and auxiliary equipment. Perform preventative maintenance on injection molds.

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Ability to set-up molds.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine processes.
  • Ability to read specifications to determine machine set-up and prescribed temperature and time settings.
  • Ability to repair and maintain machines and auxiliary equipment using hand and power tools.
  • Enter molding parameters in the press.

Required Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
