Job Title: Plastic Injection Molding Set Up Technician
Shift: 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay: Earn up to $43.00/hr total pay! ($21.86 – $40.00/hr base + $3.00/hr shift differential)

What You’ll Do
- Lead press setups, mold changes, and auxiliary equipment hookups for injection molding machines.
- Dial in machine settings and run trials to ensure specs are met right out of the gate.
- Troubleshoot defects (splay, sink marks, drag lines, color variations) alongside Process Engineers.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, inspection) to maintain zero downtime.
- Champion safety on the floor using strict Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Hands-on experience setting up and troubleshooting plastic injection molding machinery.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Proficient with setup sheets, hand tools, hoists, and precision measuring equipment.
- Problem-Solvers: Ability to diagnose defects independently and keep production moving efficiently.
- Clear Communication: Ability to follow written English instructions, log technical parameters accurately, and step up to lead on shift.
- Requirements: High School Diploma/GED (vocational plastics training is a bonus!). Must meet ITAR.

Responsibilities
- Setup & Operations: Install, align, and connect molds and auxiliary equipment on injection molding machines. Conduct trial runs to ensure proper operation.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose technical issues, perform routine preventative maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, inspection), and assist engineering to minimize downtime.
