Apply now!Setup Technician Responsibilities:- Performing set-up, changeover, teardown, and maintenance of extrusion tooling and related equipment- Operating extruder and auxiliary downstream equipment- Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as required- Producing quality products by following extrusion set-up sheets, work instructions, and company procedures- Completing dimensional charts, check sheets, and all required production documentation accurately and on time- Updating set-up sheets and related documents as processes or specifications change- Inspecting parts to specification using precision measuring and testing equipment- Troubleshooting extrusion process issues and providing technical support to operators and other lines as needed- Participating in root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventative corrections- Preparing cartons, skids, and tooling for upcoming orders to support production flow- Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work environmentRequirements for Setup Technician:- High school diploma or equivalent- Experience in plastic extrusion set-up and operation; prior forklift experience- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and specifications- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others- Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours in fast-paced environment- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly- Strong math skills including fractions and conversionsIND045QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
