Job summary

• Ability to manage multiple ongoing files/projects without losing track of details.

Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to clients to collect any outstanding or deficient documentation needed to finalize their case.
• Serve as a key point of contact for both internal team members and clients throughout the pre-settlement process.
• Verify that all files are free of liens (including child support liens) prior to case clearance.
• Confirm there are no outstanding judgments against the client that could impact payout eligibility.
• Confirm client bankruptcy status to ensure compliance before a file moves forward.
• Manage multiple client files and projects simultaneously, keeping cases moving efficiently through the queue.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, including those who may be frustrated or anxious about the status of their case.
• Collaborate closely with internal case managers and settlement staff to ensure a smooth handoff once a file is ready for disbursement.

This role plays a critical part in the settlement process, ensuring client files are fully prepared and compliant before being moved forward for final disbursement.
