Job summary

QinetiQ US in the National Capital Region seeks a SETA Mission Support Member to provide mid-to-senior level technical and operational support across flight operations, ground site operations, and mission systems. The ideal candidate holds an active TS/SCI with Polygraph, direct IC experience, and a technical background in aerospace, electrical engineering, or physics.

The role requires SCIF work, collaboration with government and industry and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.
• Direct Intelligence Community experience is required.
• Technical background in aerospace engineering, astronautical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or related field.
• Experience supporting IC flight operations and ground site operations is required.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide SETA mission support to government customers across technical, operational, and programmatic mission areas.
• Support mission planning, coordination, and execution activities involving flight operations, ground site operations, and related mission systems.
• Apply technical expertise in aerospace, astronautics, electrical engineering, physics, or related field to assess mission concepts, system performance, and operational readiness.
• Support modeling and simulation activities, including scenario development and mission performance assessment.
• Coordinate with government, SETA, FFRDC, UARC, industry, and mission partner stakeholders in classified environments.
• Develop, review, and deliver technical products, briefings, analyses, and recommendations for government leadership.
• Support operational planning and issue resolution in a SCIF environment.
• Maintain awareness of mission priorities and schedules affecting execution.
