Job summary

Cabinetworks Group in Waconia, MN, is seeking a Set Up Specialist for the 1st shift. You will set up products and deliver them to finishing, coordinating with the whitewood team to prioritize oldest materials.

Inspect parts for defects and repair as needed, using machining and distressing techniques for custom parts. You must read move tickets and communicate clearly, with physical tasks including lifting and standing.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read move tickets and produce correct parts before finishing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift, stand and walk throughout the department.
• Self-directed with strong attention to detail; focus on safety and quality.
• Ability to use various saw equipment and tape measures.
• Understand product flow to ensure correct units are produced first.

Responsibilities

• Set up product correctly and deliver to the finishing area.
• Communicate with whitewood team to expedite oldest materials.
• Examine parts for quality defects and repair/replace as needed.
• Utilize machining and distressing techniques for special and custom parts.
• Saw usage with table saw and other equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
