Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Set-Up Technician in Heber Springs, AR to prepare, configure, and troubleshoot CNC machinery for precision aluminum automotive parts. Essential Skills

• Hands‑on experience with CNC machinery, including operation and setup.
• Ability to work with G‑code to input data, load programs, and adjust machine settings.
• Proficiency in installing, adjusting, and removing tools, molds, dies, and fixtures on CNC equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a machine shop environment.
• Experience with machine operation, changeovers, and production support.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems used in industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with pneumatic systems used in industrial machinery.Ability to inspect parts and verify dimensions against specifications.
• Understanding of basic safety practices related to CNC operation and industrial equipment.

Work Environment

This role is based in a machine shop environment operating Monday through Friday on second shift (2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.) or third shift (10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.), with some Saturday work expected to meet production needs. The facility is not climate controlled, so temperatures may vary with the seasons, but fans are positioned at each machine and station to improve comfort. Team members work around CNC machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and standard metalworking equipment, and are expected to wear appropriate industrial attire and follow all safety guidelines.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Heber Springs, AR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
