Job summary

DEX Imaging is seeking a hands-on Set Up Technician to prepare and assemble copier and printer equipment before delivery to customers. This role suits someone who enjoys tools and mechanical work and takes pride in readying machines for installation.

You will perform assembly, inspections, firmware loading, and basic setup, while supporting warehouse operations and coordinating with delivery and service teams. A proactive, safety-conscious mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Experience working with tools, equipment assembly, or mechanical systems is preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, move, and handle office equipment.
• Dependable work ethic and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or equipment-related environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, inspect, and prepare copier and printer equipment for customer delivery.
• Install accessories, trays, and other equipment components as needed.
• Perform quality checks to ensure equipment is clean, operational, and ready for delivery.
• Load firmware and complete basic machine setup requirements.
• Assist with equipment staging, inventory organization, and general warehouse operations.
• Work closely with delivery, service, and operations teams to support timely order fulfillment.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and equipment-handling guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
