Job summary

BD in Anasco, Puerto Rico, seeks a Set Up Operator to run production machinery, perform set-ups, inspections and preventive maintenance in a regulated environment. You will ensure product quality, adhere to GMP, and participate in continuous improvement on 8- and 12-hour rotating shifts.

Ideal candidates have a technical certification or 6 months of SM equipment experience and at least 2 years in the medical device field, with bilingual Spanish/English preferred. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Follows approved procedures and QSR/ISO 13485.
• Technical certification or 6 months SM equipment proficiency required.
• Two years in medical device/pharma/cosmetic industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Start up equipment following procedures and monitor quality.
• Record production data accurately per procedures.
• Maintain environmental conditions per production specs.
• Notify supervisor of any deviations or safety hazards.
• Perform routine maintenance and changeovers.
• Inspect own work for conformance to requirements.
• Ensure waste is properly disposed and area is clean.
