Job summary

Description:

This role is responsible for the set-up, adjustment, maintenance, andtroubleshooting of line equipment in compliance with Good ManufacturingPractices (GMP) and regulatory standards. The Set-Up Mechanic will play a keyrole in ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality operations.

Essential Functions:

• Set up, adjust, and operate manufacturing line machines according to productbatch records.
• Conduct routine mechanical inspections and perform preventive maintenance tominimize downtime.
• Provide emergency or unscheduled repairs on production and/or line equipment.
• Perform changeovers between different products or formats efficiently tominimize downtime.
• Perform track and trace activities as required on packaging equipment.
• Maintain Lockout & Tagout system. Maintain accurate logs and documentationfor all setups, maintenance, adjustments, and downtime.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of manufacturing equipment androom equipment.
• Assist other maintenance staff in completing special projects or maintenancework as needed. Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety procedures, and currentGood Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
