Job Summary: Ensure members have an enjoyable dining experience by maintaining a positive attitude, knowing the menu, delivering top-quality service, using members' names, exceeding expectations, and being a team player. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Training and Experience: Experience in luxury resorts, restaurants, and fast-paced environments is required.

Job Knowledge: Knowledge of basic service steps (how to wait tables) and understanding of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is necessary.

Duties and Functions

  1. Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts as needed.
  2. Arrive on time and in proper, clean, and well-maintained uniform.
  3. Maintain personal grooming standards, including hair that is clean and styled appropriately.
  4. Attend all required training, safety courses, meetings, and departmental briefings.
  5. Report safety hazards and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.
  6. Review previous shift notes and day's assignments with the Set Up Manager.
  7. Coordinate weekly with the Set Up Manager, Conference Services Director, and Assistant.
  8. Assign duties to Set-Up Attendants and assist with setup tasks.
  9. Inspect all functions for details using BEO and setup checklists.
  10. Assist in assigning duties for the remainder of the day after morning setup.
  11. Assist with physical setup, cleaning, and arranging of tables and equipment.
  12. Responsible for refreshing functions as needed.
  13. Manage receipt and issuance of packages for guests in the Conference and Catering Department.
  14. Maintain and properly store all banquet equipment.
  15. Train new Set Up Attendants and provide ongoing training for existing staff.
  16. Supervise Set Up Attendants and address performance issues.
  17. Check meeting rooms, breaks, and storage areas throughout the shift for service quality and cleanliness.
  18. Assist in coordinating night shift work assignments.
  19. Monitor for breakage, damage, or loss of equipment and notify management.
  20. Ensure safety standards, report injuries, and follow safety protocols.
  21. Respond courteously to guest requests and escalate issues as needed.
  22. Set up group name stands for functions.
  23. Perform any other duties to ensure quality service as assigned.
